Confidence or courage?

Transitioning from an infantry rifleman to a battle-group intelligence operator was not easy. It taught me that it wasn’t confidence that we need to start something new or different, it’s courage.

Due to the events of 2020, many people are now facing change and an uncertain future. New positions, new companies, and new careers.

Wanted or unwanted, change can be terrifying. The fear of not being good enough, the fear of loss and failure, the fear of the unknown, and the of fear being judged by others, can sometimes feel overwhelming.

To be courageous is a choice. Not an easy one, but still a choice. It is impossible to know what we are truly capable of, and what the future might hold unless we take risks and step into the unknown.
