Darren brings 28 years of frontline policing experience — most of it as a detective in New Zealand’s elite Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).

He led high-profile investigations into child protection, organised crime, and national security, often under intense public scrutiny and operational pressure. Darren’s expertise includes serious crime investigations, behavioural profiling, offender interviews, and multi-agency operations at the highest level.

Awarded the Queen’s Service Medal for his service, Darren is known for his calm under fire, professional integrity, and ability to lead teams through the most complex and high-stakes environments.
